This cookware should be looked at like an investment. Buy it once and your done. You won't need any other cookware.

Original review May 13, 2025
I bought the waterless cookware some 40 years ago. Never a complaint. Handles got a little rough, but that's age. I also bought the oil core fry pan, which I loved dearly and used all the time. My home recently burned down, and I lost everything, no insurance. We can't find the cookware, but the oil core pan I did. Unfortunately, it burned so badly it cannot be used. My question is, if I send it back to you, would you send me another one? I'll be happy to send it back. I'm having to live in a camper now on the same property. I was given a Teflon set that I hate. No comparison. I truly miss my cookware. It is the absolute best on the market. It was pricey back then, but worth every dime. My former mother-in-law bought the same as me. But unfortunately, she moved to Florida and passed away. Her daughter got her set. I am in South Carolina. I love to cook and bake, and my set did it all!
Thank you
Respectfully,

Cons:
  • There are absolutely none

Preferred solution: My cookware is lost due to home fire. However my oil core pan has been pulled out of the debri, but unusable. I was hoping if I send the Oil core pan back That maybe you would pro rated or even send me another one.

Resolved: LifeTime Cookware produced by West Bend

Updated by user Apr 10, 2025

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I previously complained to the Company a number of years ago with no resolution.

There's been no other communication since then . I gave my review as a warning to others. LifeTime cookware is not worth the price.

Mine don't look as good as used Thrift store pots. As far as I am concerned, issue is done.

Bought a set of Lifetime cookware about 10 years ago for just over $3000. at a home sales party.

Sucked me in. I HATE that the lids suck down on the pots once the heat is off, so I have to re-heat the pot to release it. The sales team said it was a good thing but it's actually stupid . All the rubber inserts on the handles have deteriorated and new ones start at about $25.00 each.

When I bought, I was under the false impression that there was a life time warranty but nope, not on the handles. They are also very heavy and difficult to use with arthritis.

Damaged west bend slow cooker

I love cooking with this slow cooker. Loved making variety of soups, potroast, bbq, etc.

I started smelling burnt plastic/wire. Couldn't figure it out until I walked by my slow cooker.

Part of the bottom was melted? Is this a faulty item or has it been recalled?

Defective West Bend popcorn maker

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

After using our popcorn maker no more than six times, it no longer worked. I asked for a refund, but they refused to honor my request, even though they said I probably had a defective unit.

I would not recommend West Bend products. If I could give them a zero, I would.

Not happy

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased a West Bend versatility cooker approximately 4 months ago through the Fingerhut company, and have only used it 4 times and it is pitted in some areas on the bottom of the nonstick interior, the finish is scratched on the outside on the bottom of the cooking vessel, and I see very faint surface scratches on the inside although I have NEVER used anything but silicone or plastic utensils with it and never placed it in the dishwasher. Please advise as I am very unhappy with this product.

Problems with last 3 cookers 6qt size my wife has used.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user Aug 08, 2024

Apparently Westbend chooses not to hear or read anything negative, the reason behind them ignoring my complaints.

Original review Aug 04, 2024

The last three 6qt size products have resulted in very substandard quality. The first time I used them, the coating on the inside would bubble up and start peeling off.

Why is that? Have you cut down on your quality of coatings? The last three West Bend 6-quart cookers have resulted in that, and I had to send each one back for a refund. You need to start making them with better quality like they used to be.

I need to hear from you about this and if you are going to change back to producing a quality product. Thank you.

We always bought west bend crock pots but the last one bubbled the third time we used it so we returned it and got another one and it did the same thing. Junk. Not going to exchange it I’m just going with a different brand.

The person that answered the phone basically told me that West Bend had been out of business for years and years and she really couldn't help me. This is kind of weird that I'm asked to review accompany that somebody just told me wasn't even an existence anymore.

So if y'all can have a representative call me to help me with my problem that would be great my number is 615-758-****. Thank you
